CURRICULUM

Wing Luke Museum created curriculum sets to blend Asian and Pacific Islander histories into social studies, language arts, and history courses designed to meet Common Core, Washington State Social Studies Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EALR), and Grade Level Expectation (GLE) standards by grade level

ABOUT THIS CURRICULUM

Our website portal gives teachers access to lesson plans, curriculum sets by ethnic group, and other tools to blend Asian and Pacific Islander histories into social studies, language arts, and history courses.

These lesson plans are available for free with a subscription option to access additional content. Prices are available for classrooms, entire schools, and per-grade band full district pricing.

This curriculum is designed to meet Common Core, Washington State Social Studies Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EALR), and Grade Level Expectation (GLE) standards by grade level. Our curriculum helps steer student comprehension, analysis, and personal connection to history and contemporary social studies using literature, oral histories, multimedia resources, and virtual interaction with historical objects.

Our lessons extend seamlessly to onsite museum educational programming and tours.

For questions about the curriculum or subscription options, contact the Wing Luke Museum Education Department.
