According to the Pew Research Center, US born voters have a higher turnout rate (62 percent) than foreign born voters (54 percent). Barriers such as language, unfamiliarity with the process and voter eligibility are often the reason.

We’ll help you register to vote, learn more about key ballot measures that impact you, and receive language translation support so that you can make the best choices this election cycle! There will be raffle prizes, giveaways and light refreshments, too.

Award-winning artist, Aram Han Sifuentes, who designed the iconic voting booth featured in the We Can Be Heroes: Voting and Beyond exhibit (which was designed by Summer Li), will be at the Voting Party, connecting with visitors and encouraging them to add to a collective voting artwork project she is developing.

Afterward, attendees who register can view our exhibits, including We Can Be Heroes: Voting and Beyond.
