Join us as we gather, eat, and learn about the Redlining Heritage Trail. This collection of urban walks in Seattle highlights settlement patterns and historic landmarks, and shows how communities - despite being confined within redlined zones - built their lives with determination, purpose, and institutions that empower communities to this day.

Speakers sharing their work as advisory committee members of the Redlining Heritage Trail include Doan Diane Hoang Dy, Wing Luke Museum Senior Tour Manager; Stephanie Johnson-Toliver, president of The Black Heritage Society of Washington State; and Diane Sugimura, former director of the City of Seattle’s Department of Planning and Development. The event will be moderated by Wren Wheeler.
