More Ways to Give
 

Leave a Legacy:
 

Consider including the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience as a beneficiary in your will, retirement plan, IRA, or life insurance policy. Planned giving allows you to leave a legacy which will help provide valuable programs at the Museum for future generations. Life income plans are available to accommodate individual situations. If you are over age 70½, you may rollover up to $100,000 annually until December 31, 2009 from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to a charitable organization without having to count the distributions as taxable income.  For more information, please call Donna Ma at (206) 623-5124 ext 138.
Donate a Car:
Avoid the hassle of trying to sell your car, truck, RV, boat or motorcycle.  Instead donate it to support all the great programs and exhibits at the Museum and receive a tax deduction.  Please contact Northwest Charity Donation Service at 1-800-961-6119 and tell them you are donating on our behalf.  They will pick up your vehicle, assess the market value, complete all DMV title transfers, and provide a tax receipt at no cost to you.
Search and Shop for Wing Luke:

GoodSearch.com is a new search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to charities.  It also links to you its new online shopping mall, GoodShop.com, which donates up to 37% of your purchases to your charity.  All you have to do is go to www.goodsearch.com, enter "Wing Luke Asian Museum" as your designated charity, and then use it just as you would any search engine or online shopping website.  Please use it and help spread the word.  It’s any easy way to support the Museum without spending an extra dime!
